The original XP1 was a fairly basic but tough as old boots handset, whereas the new Sonim XP2.10 Spirit, is not only tougher but far smarter too !

It is without doubt the first rugged 3G handset for use in any testing condition, either indoors or outside.

It has a high resistant 2" Gorilla glass display that will absorb impacts and resist scratches when the going gets tough. It's Certified IP67, Impervious to water and micro particles too, so it's waterproof for up to 1 metre for 30 minutes. It shrugs off dust, dirt and micro particles and can survive falls from heights of up to 2 metres. It won't even yield to vibrations (up to 4 G) and extreme temperatures (-20°C/+55°C), so you really can take it anywhere and feel safe that it's there for you in times of trouble.

Features on the XP2 Spirit are of a high standard and include a 3MP camera with LED flash and dedicated camera key, bluetooth, multimedia player and FM radio, Email with IMAP4 Pop 3 support and an LED torch for when you're left in the dark !

Unlike previous models, the XP2.10 has a microSD slot so you can have up to 8Gb of extra memory available to you, which comes in handy for those music and video files. The battery life offers 8 hours of talktime and 428 hours of standby.
